There are relatively few tennis films available
on DVD. Our aim is to offer the most comprehensive
possible range, and we stock titles from the UK, France, Australia
and the USA. Recent releases include the excellent Wimbledon 2008 Men's Singles Final between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Sub-titled "Rafael Nadal's Triumph at Twilight", this excellent 5 hour film is just one of a number of recent releases which collectively make up the Wimbledon Video Collection. Another welcome addition to our stock is the excellent series of coaching DVDs by Nick Bollettieri. And we always keep Mansour Bahrami - The Man Behind The Moustache, which is far and away our most popular and bestselling DVD.
We currently have over 50 tennis films in stock, mostly relating to the Wimbledon Championships, player development and coaching. We are also official stockists of Australian Open DVDs, and recent releases from down under include the Australian Open Official Film 2008 plus various classic matches from the tournament. A DVD really does make an excellent gift, being both light in postal weight and greatly appreciated by the recipient (assuming he or she likes tennis, that is!)
We still have a small stock of tennis films on VHS video cassettes. These include Wimbledon Official Films for most years from 1974 to 2004, although if you want to buy these you should act quickly as some years are already unavailable and there are no plans to transfer the films to DVD. Please call us at the Gallery for more information about the availability of VHS video cassettes.
All new tennis films are reviewed in our customer newsletter Letter From SW19. This is sent out with all orders as a way of rewarding our regular loyal customers. This is important as some imported DVDs are only available for a short time.
